As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of the solutions delivered, collaborating with both technical and business teams to guarantee that products meet defined requirements and deliver clear value to the customer.
Main responsibilities
- Participate in the analysis and review of functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring they are testable.
- Collaborate with development and business teams to clarify questions and align quality expectations.
- Create, execute, and maintain manual test cases based on defined acceptance criteria.
- Report and track defects, ensuring their resolution in collaboration with the technical team.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and testing practices.
- Ensure adherence to established methodologies and processes (e.g., Agile).
- Support end users during acceptance testing, ensuring requirements are met.
Requisites
Academic background
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering.
Professional experience
1 to 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance and software testing roles (e.g., functional, regression, integration testing), as well as in estimating testing effort.
Technical skills
Experience translating requirements into test cases (preferably using Gherkin).
Work methodologies
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Communication skills
Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams, and strong proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Personal skills
Attention to detail and critical thinking.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of tools such as Jira, DevOps, and Confluence.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB Foundation).
