Azure AI Engineer
An Azure AI Engineer, part of the Core Services team, is responsible for designing, developing and implementing Artificial Intelligence solutions on the Azure platform, thus boosting our Artificial Intelligence area.
Your role
- Participating in the architecture of C#/.NET-based software solutions;
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and identify opportunities for leveraging AI technologies;
- Designing scalable and secure AI solutions on the Azure platform, integrating AI solutions with existing systems and applications;
- Developing, testing, and deploying machine learning models using Azure Cognitive Services and related frameworks;
- Optimizing and fine-tuning machine learning models for improved performance and accuracy;
- Conducting regular monitoring and maintenance of deployed AI solutions;
- Ensuring data security, privacy and compliance with regulatory requirements;
- Collaborating with software engineers, data scientists and other stakeholders to drive innovation and continuous improvement;
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies, best practices, AI and Azure trends, providing suggestions/recommendations that enable technology innovation.

Job requirements
Academic background
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology Management and/or Computer Engineering.
Technical knowledge
Over 2 years of experience with Azure Cloud and Azure Cognitive Services.
Software development experience
Proven experience in software development with C# or .NET technologies.
AI and Machine Learning expertise
Hands-on experience with Azure and Azure Cognitive Services, including Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, and Speech Services, as well as proficiency in developing and implementing machine learning models with Azure Machine Learning or similar frameworks.
Data management
Experience with data storage and retrieval using Azure services like Azure Storage and SQL Database, along with familiarity with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
Languages
Fluency in English, spoken and written.
